Classic choco cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter – softened

  • 3/4 cup Sugar

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips – mini or chunks make the best!

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375F
  • Combine flour, baking soda and salt – set aside.
  • In large bowl cream butter with sugar and brown until creamy and light fluffy. You shouldn’t see any granules of sugar
  • Add eggs one at a time and continue to mix on low.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Slowly add in dry ingredients. When wet and dry ingredients are mixed but not fully combined add chocolate chips.
  • Drop by cookie scoop or spoon onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Cooking
  • For best results refrigerate cookie dough for 30 minutes prior to baking.
  • Cook for 9-13 minutes – 9 minutes=soft/gooey and 13 minutes=crunchy
